Maria’s Story

Everyone is different and we all need to find what works best for us.

I always thought that the menopause happened to women in their 50s which seemed a lifetime away when I was in my early 40s. I was even more surprised when I started to get the odd hot flush in my 40s but since then and in the last number of years it has taken over my life. Nobody talks about the night sweats, the sleepless nights not to mention the mood swings and it's this that I find hard to come to terms with. At present I'm keeping positive by doing yoga and meditating as we'll as having had some homeopathy but everyone is different and we all need to find what works best for us.
