4 Steps to help you have a happier new year.

This Irish Times article by Tal Ben-Shahar, positive psychologist and best selling author, gives 4 steps to make 2016 an even happier year. It's split into 4 fairly obvious headings, but there's some nice detail and original thinking in the body of the article. Also some useful practical techniques. Here are the broad headings:

1 Give yourself the permission to be human

2 Wherever you go, there you are

3 Exercise – just do it.

4 Appreciate the good – and the good will appreciate
